This fall, Grammy-winning vegan artist Billie Eilish will launch her debut fragrance: Eilish. The 19-year-old singer was closely involved in the creation of the perfume, providing insight into the design of the bottle, the marketing campaign and the scent notes. The scent presents a warm, musky and woody base accented by notes of sweet spice, rich cocoa and creamy vanilla that overlap with notes of sweet petals, juicy tangerine and red berries.

“I wanted it to be like a warm hug. Like what it feels like to feel your blood flowing through you, ”Eilish said of her eponymous scent. “It’s a scent that I’ve been chasing for years and years and years. It’s my favorite smell in the world. Designed to align with Eilish’s vegan lifestyle, the scent contains no ingredients of animal origin and is not tested on animals.

Designed in partnership with beauty company Paralux, Ltd., Eilish will retail for $ 68 a bottle and launch exclusively through BillieEilishFragrances.com in November. “Billie Eilish is a singular talent and the voice of a generation. She has a vision in everything she does that is unique, disruptive and genuinely her own, ”Parlux President Lori Singer said in a statement. “Partnering with Billie was natural for Parlux as we can bring a vision to life like no one else, and we were also excited to be making this journey together. ”

Billie Eilish’s vegan empire is growing

Eilish has been a vegan since the age of 12 and uses her fame to promote a gentler world for animals. For several years, Eilish has used her social media platforms to share vegan posts and urge her fans to adopt a plant-based diet. Recently, Eilish has extended her vegan message to other circles of influence.

Held in September, this year’s Met Gala hosted celebrities to sample its very first all-herbal menu. It was also a big step forward for cruelty-free fashion. Eilish issued an ultimatum to iconic designer Oscar de la Renta: She would only wear the brand’s designs if she pledged to no longer wear fur. After the fashion house accepted her request, Eilish graced the red carpet in the brand’s stunning peach-colored dress inspired by Marilyn Monroe.

This year, Eilish also worked with Nike to create vegan versions of some of his iconic sneaker styles. An Air Jordans fan from a young age, Eilish’s new vegan shoes feature his signature on the insoles and are now available in two styles: Air Jordan 15 in a neutral taupe hue and Air Jordan 1KO in a “Ghost colorway. Green “reminiscent of the color of Eilish’s slimy green hair before her transformation into platinum hair.

“We’ve worked really hard to make them all 100% vegan – no leather, no animal whatsoever,” Eilish said in a promotional video for the shoes. “These are materials that are more than 20 percent recycled. Which is so crazy to me. We can do cool stuff and you don’t have to waste it.

Ariana Grande also makes vegan perfume

Eilish’s release follows God Is A Woman, the new scent from vegan singer Ariana Grande. Named after her 2018 hit song, Grande launched the vegan scent this summer at Ulta Beauty. God Is a Woman is the latest vegan scent in Grande’s arsenal which also includes Cloud (an uplifting scent with hints of lavender blossom, juicy pear and bergamot); Thank You Next (inspired by Grande’s 2018 song); and REM (a sci-fi inspired scent housed in a crystal covered bottle).
