Brooke Shields spent Mother’s Day in New York with her two daughters Rowan Francis Henchy and Grier Hammond Frenchy. The “Blue Lagoon” actress was casually dressed to hit the Big Apple sidewalk.
For the outing, Shields wore a cropped cream jacket over a basic white t-shirt. The ‘Pretty Baby’ star paired her top with lightly faded denim jeans. She let her hair cascade down her back and accessorized with brown-tinted frames and a black shoulder bag.
Shields completed her look with Jimmy Choo’s Genevi Flats. The point-toe flats are crafted in Italy from bold red satin and adorned with polished chains with intersecting crystal studs. The crystals, approximately 6mm per stone, are encrusted in metal casings and meticulously placed on the delicate chain. Ballerinas as a style of women’s footwear emerged in the 1950s and quickly established themselves as a nice middle ground between heels and sneakers. The style was especially popular in the 2000s, although it has remained in vogue over the decades for its versatility in wear.
When it comes to Shields’ essential dress style, she’s a fan of glitzy, statement pieces that showcase her eye for fun clothes. For example, she recently attended the Tribeca Ball in a black leather midi dress and PVC pumps. The high heels had a black toe and a white heel which enhanced her chic ensemble. For footwear, the “Pretty Baby” star has an affinity for classic pumps, clogs, versatile boots, leather loafers and fashionable sneakers.
