DUNNES stores have made another major addition to their range of chunky sandals – just in time for next week’s mini heatwave.
The ‘genuine leather’ mules, which cost €30, hit stores nationwide this week.

The description on their website reads: “Featuring a chunky footbed for maximum support, these genuine leather mules have criss-cross straps down the front, with a convenient adhesive tape closure.
“A reliable summer option.”
Dunnes also shared the new arrivals with her Facebook followers.
They added: “Put your best foot forward this summer with chunky 100% leather mules. A must have for the sun.
And one person said, “These are fabulous.”
Another added: “Oh I want them.”
Meanwhile, Dunnes Stores fans are loving the £30 two-stripe leather sandals – which come in black and white with orange stitching.
Fans believe the chunky flats resemble Doc Marten sandals which cost €124.
The description on Dunnes’ website reads: “With a sturdy two-band front and a supportive adjustable strap at the back, these leather sandals are a true summer essential.

And a fashion fan told how they are the “dupe of the summer”.
Nicole Adams took to social media to show off her latest purchase and said it was “the deal of the century”.
In a TikTok video, she said: “I found the dupe of the summer for y’all. I’m shaken, like shaken.
“Let’s go, ok! So for all the girls who love DMs, especially DM sandals in the summer – £25 from Dunnes stores.
“As always, Dunnes, you step out of the ballpark.
“I took a size 4, only got them today. They also make them in black but they didn’t have them in my size.
“I’ve seen them online so if you get stuck you can get them online but I’m still in town – deal of the century. I think real DMs are around £119 or something.
“I’ll never get this on my feet. Everybody run to Dunnes shops, tell ’em I sent you.”
