SKOWHEGAN – Beverly Jean Sincyr passed away peacefully at her home on October 13, 2021. She was the beloved wife of David A. Sincyr Jr., with whom she shared 40 wonderful years of marriage.
Beverly was born January 2, 1962 in Farmington to the late Edward Alfred Hand and Lillian G. (Smith) Hand. Beverly graduated from Skowhegan Area High School and then worked for New Balance Athletic Shoe in Norridgewock for 30 years. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic propelled her to a role of team leader within the company. Beverly had a strong passion for gardening, the arts, crafts and interior design. More than anything, Beverly loved spending quality time with her six grandchildren, Adrian, Karissa, DJ, Ava, Corrine and Alexis.
Beverly is survived by her husband, David Sincyr Jr., of Skowhegan; his son Derrick Sincyr, his daughter Danielle Sincyr and his son David Sincyr III; as well as her sisters Veronica Tilton, Patricia Quirrion, Juanita Hand Allen. She is also survived by her brothers Larry Hand, Robert Hand and Edward “Bud” Hand.
She now rests peacefully with her sister Judith Hand and brother Roger Hand.
She will be sadly missed by many beloved friends and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at a later date.
