The top 10 shoes for Milan Fashion Week spring 2022

After a Milanese Fashion Week full of renewed energy, one thing is clear: the evening shoe is back, and it’s not just about last year’s heeled pump. Instead, the Spring 22 season showed more creative ways to dress the foot, from glamorous fisherman sandals to cantilever heels and the new pointed pump.

Attached is a preview of the top 10 shoes from Milan Fashion Week Spring ’22.

More New Shoes

1. Giuseppe Zanotti

Like others, the pandemic offered to the rock and roll shoe designer is a rare break, which has allowed him to slow down his design process, he told FN during the week. This included a cantilevered wedge, one of his signatures, this time with a gladiator-like front done in an iridescent varnished strap.

2. Giannico

Nicolò Beretta has a knack for finding a sold-out style all season long and currently it’s Eve, a caged pump with an ankle wrap, all encrusted with crystals. For Spring 22, the instantly glamorous and flattering style comes in a sunset palette of yellows and oranges.

3. Gianvito Rossi

Rossi always does a flattering red, finding the right shade just like a master makeup artist finds the right lipstick. For spring, it comes in a shimmering hue over a heeled sandal, with a thin ankle wrap and PVC heel. It’s easy to imagine with a perfectly matched tan and pedicure.

4. Versace

The stoic fisherman’s sandal is getting an update this season in Italy, including from Versace, which showed a series of it in a heeled version with a distinct jelly shoe vibe.

5. Prada

If Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons say pointy toes are back, they probably will be. This season, they’ve done them in a monochrome of bright, saturated colors, paired with a triangular logo in patent leather for an updated status symbol shoe.

6. Jimmy Choo

The post-pandemic wedding boom of 2021 and 2022 is already in play (at least for now), and Jimmy Choo is set, having easily become the luxury brand with the most creative bridal shoes available. For Spring 22, the Scotty heel is crafted in a crystal cage for maximum impact on D-Day or any night out.

7. Fendi

Kim Jones turned to the archives of disco-era fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez to bring in sketches of clothing for Spring 22, including a series of intarsia leather thigh-high boots depicting the same glamorous women pictured. on dresses, shirts and coats.

8. Versace and Fendi

The highly anticipated ‘Fendace’ collaboration of Versace and Fendi was not without shoe moments, including a series of architectural heels of Fendi design codes, which mingled the F monogram with Versace’s La Greca logo, all in gold.

9. Attica

Presenting her new collection, Attico co-founders Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio asked their most glamorous friends to join them in modeling the new duds. Model Tina Tunakey teamed an oversized mint green sequin mini dress with a pair of gladiator-style lace-up sandals studded with ears and feathers.

10. Jil Sander

Spring 22 was not an affair of many boots, but Jil Sander’s patent ankle boots with a crystal shoe pin made the shoe style fresh for all seasons.
